Producer

Born in Malaysia, Lyn Loo transferred to Portland, Oregon to receive her BA in Film. Lyn is interested in producing, coordinating, writing and directing. Fencesitters is the first feature-length film that Lyn has produced. She also produced a variety of short films, including Executor, Thunderbird, and Shreds. She always strives to include women and people of color on her sets and is passionate about empowering any minority group. Lyn hopes to write and direct more in the future, and work with different kinds of filmmakers. Onset, you’re likely to find Lyn eating mandarin oranges. And have a couple more in her pockets.

Writer

Brittany's journey into film started when her kitchen manager told her she would “never make it in movies.” So she went back to school and got her Associate in General Studies in Creative Writing. She then transferred to Portland State University and achieved her Bachelor of Science in Film. While Brittany was working towards her degree, she worked on various projects including 32 Goldfish (2019) which showed at the Portland International Film Festival 2020 and became an assistant director for When in the Woods that premiered at Oregon Coast Film Festival 2020. Coming from the theatre days of being a stage manager, her love for working on set has evolved to focus on her passion of screenwriting and directing, during her senior year she was picked to join the PSU.tv Annual Film Project 4 (AFP4) and wrote her first indie-feature film Fencesitters (2020). Currently, she’s working on her upcoming passion project, Cultivar, a sci-fi/horror film, and is focusing on moving to LA to take the next step in her career.

Director

Emma Josephson is a Writer and Director from Portland, Oregon. Josephson is finishing up her film degree at Portland State University in June 2020. Outside of the classroom, she works on commercial and independent productions in Portland and holds the title of Station Manager at a student-run production house at PSU. Her films are often inspired by memories from her childhood, but she is also interested in examining social and environmental issues and how they affect individual people and relationships between characters. She wrote and directed a short film, “63 Miles Away” in 2019, which won awards at film festivals including the international Canada Shorts film festival. She is currently in pre-production for a short dark drama/thriller titled “The Houses on Haven Street,” it will be in production Spring 2020.

Director of Photography

Eduardo Jovanovic is a cinematographer from Venezuela with a Bachelor's in Film and an Associates in Architecture. He has worked in several short films, commercials and music videos in Mexico, Venezuela, Spain, and Portland, OR. Eduardo's background in music built a strong work-ethic foundation in him, and his past in architecture gave him the aesthetic principles he uses daily as a Cinematographer.

Kai Pacifico Eng (He/Him) is a Filipino-American sound recordist and editor from Seattle, WA. He is the current Marketing Director for PSU.tv, Portland State’s student-run production house. Kai’s editing work includes Fencesitters, the fourth feature film produced by PSU.tv, and the Regional Emmy-winning An American Hero: Frank Nishimura.
